Patty has been a student of yoga since 2001 when she completed her Integral Yoga 200 hour teacher training. Having practiced numerous types of yoga, she has found her true home in Yin Yoga. Teaching Yin classes for several years in Charlotte, NC, she found this practice is uniquely suited to bring balance for body, mind, and spirit to the often busy lifestyle of students. Her class includes a combination of Yin asana, which entails long steady holds of poses, pranayama, chanting, and meditation. It is suited for all levels and all bodies.

~Gentle Restorative Yoga, Wednesdays 6-7:15pm
ShirleyAnn has been a yoga instructor for over 20 years.The restorative yoga practice is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching.During the long holds of restorative yoga however, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It’s a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body. All levels welcome-donation based class.

~ Hatha Flow Yoga, Tuesdays 9:30-11am
ShirleyAnn has been a yoga instructor for over 20 years. Hatha means movement, this part of the yoga includes stretching, breathing practices for stress reduction and relaxation. Yoga Flow incorporates energetic movement through a series of asanas (yoga postures), by which the student experiences a sense of fluid physical motion. … Additionally, in teaching flow there will be a sequence of postures.
